Stonetown Heritage Festival July 09-11, 2010 - St. Marys ON

This weekend the beautiful Town Of St. Marys Ontario will be having their 15th Annual Stonetown Heritage Festival.
"This vibrant event, which has grown in size and scope over the years, has attracted some of Ontario's finest performers who will showcase their impressive skills over the course of the weekend. St. Marys provides a pretty impressive backdrop - with its unique limestone architecture - for what has evolved into an exceptional annual festival. In addition to some amazing new programming, there will be plenty of fireworks, a street dance, the Apple Land Train, roving performers, town-wide yard sale, a classic car show, food and market stalls, as well as tremendous amounts of fun for the children. Celebrate with us!"

Aerial Angels
Sat. Jul 10th 10am, 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm (30 minute performances) The Aerial Angels were first introduced to local audiences during last year's Festival. Since then, we've been inundated with the request that the Angels be asked to return in 2010. The Angels' unique freestanding trapeze rig has enabled them to present stunning aerial acts at festivals worldwide.
Spin Cycle
Sat. Jul 10th 10:30am (45 minute performance)
Previous Festival attendees may recall stilt-walking opera singer Madame Buskerfly. This time, International vaudevillian Kristi Heath returns with her equally talented husband Greg Tarlin in Spin Cycle. Greg and Kristi have combined their talents as award-winning circus performers and Second City veterans. During this fast paced show you'll be engaged, amazed and highly entertained by skills that include juggling, unicycling, stilt dancing, vaudeville routines and more.
Junkyard Symphony
Sat. Jul 10th 12pm and 3pm (50 minute performances)
Recent WinterLights Celebrations accolades are a proud reminder that St. Marys is a dedicated and pro-active 'green' community. It only seemed fitting that Junkyard Symphony - an eco-entertainment company based in Ottawa, be invited to perform during this year's Heritage Festival. The troupe, best known for their amazing junk percussion/comedy/circus shows, will appear on Queen Street at 12 noon and 3pm.
There is so much more the festival is offering July 09-11th, visit Heritage Festival for the line up of events.
